Technology Sales Apprenticeships Available
Press Releases |
Thu, September 23, 2010 Frankfort – DMD Data Systems is now accepting applications for the DMD Apprentice Institute, a program through which college students are paid to learn about the technology industry and work part-time until they graduate. Interest in sales and a 12-month commitment are the only requirements. Up to three apprentices will be selected to begin in January 2011.
Apprentice sales representatives undergo a rigorous training schedule that involves sales certification in core hardware and software products under IBM and Oracle, such as tape, disk, and blade storage, Tivoli and FileNet. Apprentices also learn about the industries that DMD Data Systems serves, such as healthcare, education, banking and government.
This is the second year for the program. Two graduates have joined the company as full-time employees. To apply, contact Anitra Thompson at 859-296-5780 ext. 111 or athompson@dmddatasystems.com.
